Accuracy of calculations

• Astronomical precision: Chart calculations use VedicSync's proprietary Vedic engine with Lahiri Ayanamsa, validated against Swiss Ephemeris and Jagannatha Hora to 1/100th of a degree (the professional standards for serious Jyotish software). Positions, all 16 divisional charts, Ashtakavarga, Shadbala, and Vimshottari are computed deterministically and verified by 84 automated accuracy checks on every release.
• Interpretation accuracy: AI interpretations are based on classical texts (BPHS, Brihat Jataka, Saravali) but interpretation is inherently subjective. Different astrological frameworks may reach different conclusions from the same chart.
• Input dependency: The accuracy of your chart depends on the accuracy of your birth time. Even small errors in birth time can affect house calculations and some planetary positions.

AI-generated content

• AI interpretations are generated by language models (Anthropic Claude) using verified chart data as input.
• Chart data (planetary positions, all 16 divisional charts, Dasha periods, timing) is computed deterministically by VedicSync's proprietary Vedic engine (Lahiri Ayanamsa) — this data is not AI-generated.
• The AI is instructed to interpret only verified chart data and has post-response validation checks. However, AI interpretation is not infallible — it may occasionally misstate timing data, misweight factors, or oversimplify complex chart configurations.
• AI-generated content is intended as a reflective lens, not as a definitive reading of your chart.
