Refund & Cancellation Policy

VedicSync is an AI-only Vedic companion. We offer a free tier, paid monthly subscriptions, and optional credit top-ups. This policy explains when subscription and credit charges can be refunded or cancelled.
1. Subscriptions
VedicSync offers three tiers: Lite (free), Pro (₹399/month), and Max (₹999/month). Each paid tier includes a monthly allotment of credits that resets at the start of every billing cycle.
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to your tier's features and remaining monthly credits until the end of the current billing cycle.
If you cancel within 48 hours of a new subscription charge or renewal and have not consumed any of that cycle's monthly credits, you are eligible for a full refund of that charge.
Once monthly credits from a billing cycle have been used, that cycle's subscription charge is non-refundable. We do not pro-rate partially used billing cycles.
2. Credit top-ups
In addition to the credits included with your subscription, you can purchase top-up credit packs (e.g. 100 credits for ₹499). Top-up credits never expire and stack on top of your monthly allotment.
A top-up purchase made within the last 7 days is eligible for a full refund, provided none of the credits from that purchase have been consumed.
If some credits from a recent top-up have been consumed, we will refund the remaining unused credits from that purchase on a pro-rata basis (within the 7-day window).
Credits that have already been spent on AI interactions are consumed and cannot be refunded. Top-up purchases older than 7 days are non-refundable, but the credits never expire.
3. How credits are spent
Credits are consumed by AI interactions — for example Ask Saarthi, timing checks, and generated reports. A credit is considered consumed the moment the AI delivers a response or report. Because compute is incurred immediately, consumed credits are not refundable.
If an AI interaction fails due to a verified technical error on our side (for example, the response never generated), the credits for that interaction will be restored to your balance.
4. Free tier and free features
The Lite (free) tier and free features (Daily Alignment, Weekly Pulse, birth chart storage, and your included free birth chart report) carry no charge, and therefore no refund applies to them.
5. Dissatisfaction with AI guidance
VedicSync guidance is AI-generated and provided for informational and reflective purposes (see our Disclaimer). If you are genuinely dissatisfied with the quality of a paid AI interaction or report:
- Contact us within 48 hours at hello@vedicsync.ai with details of your concern.
- We will review the interaction and, at our discretion, restore the credits spent or offer a complimentary regeneration.
- Goodwill credit restorations are limited to one per user per 90-day period to prevent misuse.
6. How refunds are processed
- Credit restorations: Restored to your VedicSync credit balance instantly.
- Subscription and top-up refunds: Refunded to the original payment method (Razorpay for INR, Stripe for international) within 5-7 business days.
- International card refunds may take 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
- Bank processing times are outside our control — if your refund is delayed beyond 10 business days, contact your bank first, then reach out to us.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@vedicsync.ai with:
- Your registered email address.
- The subscription charge or credit purchase in question.
- Reason for the refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
8. Account deletion
If you delete your account, any unused subscription credits and top-up credits are forfeited and non-refundable. We recommend using your remaining credits before deleting your account. Cancelling your subscription before deletion stops future charges.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not affect refund eligibility for transactions made before the change. Material changes will be communicated via email.
